Blue Bell, PA. (April 10, 2017) – Normandy Farm, known for “perfecting excellence for over 280 years,” is further perfecting the corporate guest experience. The resort is now in the middle of a multimillion-dollar renovation that will further transform both Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center and its connected sister property, Blue Bell Country Club into one of the Greater Philadelphia Area’s top retreat destinations.

"We started an initiative to become the 'farm of the future' three years ago, and these projects are a continuation of that effort," says Bud Hansen of the parent company, Hansen Properties.

The last renovation at Normandy Farm took place in 2005, when the property opened. The 2017 renovations are significant and will continue to catapult Normandy Farm ahead of the curve of dining, events, weddings, conferences and beyond.

Normandy Farm renovations will cost an estimated $1.7 million that will upgrade all 113 of the interior hotel rooms, giving them a modern "farm-chic" look. Improvements include: new furniture, art, carpeting, wallpaper, flooring, increased bandwidth capacity to 1GB and a Wi-Fi system overhaul to ensure resort-wide connectivity. Conference attendees will experience noticeable comforts from fine artwork collaborations with local art galleries to the conference center’s anything but common, common area. The property realizes a tremendous amount of time is spent attending meetings, the senses should always feel alive and alert to ensure the ultimate in productivity.

The world-class Blue Bell Country Club renovations focus on enhancing golfers’ experience. Since Hansen Properties firmly believes in staying ahead of the curve, a focus is on building upon the 2015 ballroom renovations even further. An estimated $2 million investment will bring a fire pitand restored greenside bunkers with the Better Billy Bunker System, which sends golfers back to the course quicker after a rainfall. Additionally, cart paths will be repaired and replaced, the pool will be repainted and a state-of-the-art irrigation system will be installed.

The resort is fully operational during renovations. Total project completion is slated for July 2017.
