Not even a blizzard could stop this Pennsylvania couple from getting married on Saturday! Kevin and Carmen Shanahan, of Fallston, Pennsylvania, were heartbroken when they learned that a massive snowstorm would be sweeping the nation on the weekend of their wedding – but the newlyweds quickly decided not to let the weather take away from their joyous day.
"We were getting married, blizzard or not!" Carmen, a 31-year-old EMT, tells PEOPLE with a laugh. "We were like, 'It's game time!' " The couple met four years ago through mutual friends, and had been planning their dream wedding since they got engaged last year.

The couple's event photographer, Jeffrey Sabotta, of Sabotta Imagery, says the pictures he took "completely captured" the essence of the wedding.
"We were laughing and having a good time taking those pictures," Sabotta, 37, tells PEOPLE. "People were out there in their coats cheering us on!" Read more from PEOPLE here...
