Daydreaming About Being Outside While at Work? Host One of Our Corporate BBQs at Normandy Farm!
Ever get caught daydreaming out an expansive window during another meeting that seems to drudge on and on, watching clouds drift by on a blue sky as your stomach growls and yet another pizza is brought in for lunch? You know the scene: the boss asks you for last month's sales report numbers and you blink twice as you get sucked back into the same old boring meeting ...
We’re thinking that you’re not the only one in the meeting who’s wishing they were outside.
Why not give one of our corporate team-building barbeques a try? Imagine wearing comfortable attire as your team loosens up, laughs a bit and discovers skill sets, camaraderie and how to make things work smarter in a fun and productive way outside of the office.
According to U.S. News and World Report, “Team-building events can help co-workers better understand one another and learn to be more effective at working together. Team-building exercises allow management and staff to forget about deadlines and corporate structure and focus on socializing informally. These exercises can also help employees work on more serious issues, such as learning problem-solving techniques and improving communication skills. This all helps them to build trust, which goes a long way toward achieving better communication.”
Amy Krum, sales manager for Normandy Farm, describes our most popular team-building BBQ options:
All American BBQ
Our simplest option is available for lunch or dinner and includes a host of summer salads like sliced tomato and mozzarella, spinach and tortellini (with roasted tomatoes, asparagus and red peppers) and fresh fruit with house-made wild honey mascarpone, a client favorite.
We’ve got you covered as you soak up the sun with our grilled sweet Italian sausage, split chicken, mouth-watering baby back ribs and of course burgers (with a tofu version available for our vegetarian team players).
Culinary Team-Building BBQ
Looking to step it up with more team-building interaction? Why not go for a full three-hour barbeque where your team can actually be involved in the cheffing process? That’s right—use team-building skills like communication, delegation and task processing to create a summer masterpiece for your team to enjoy.
Under expert chef facilitation you can take an active role in the preparation of one of the following: flank steak with melon relish, grilled shrimp with mango salsa, mozzarella stuffed mushrooms or grilled chicken with cucumber-melon relish.
And speaking of teamwork—we include a beer, wine and soda bar to keep the process rolling along smoothly.
Private Beer & BBQ Event
Our most exclusive and pull-out-all-the-stops outdoor barbeque event calls for you to make a decision on one of our three annual menus (pig roast, clam bake or crab fest) for you and your team (a minimum of 50) to tackle. Every choice you make is the correct one here, right?
We will also add to the productive experience with live entertainment, local craft beer tasting and a well-stocked wine and soda bar.
