Yes, we did it again. Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center is pleased to announce that we have once again been named Best of the Knot for Reception Venues for 2008.
Our entire staff takes great pride in making our bride and groom's day the best day of their lives. We sincerely appreciate being recognized for our hard wokd and dedication with this tremendous honor. Normandy Farm and Confernece Center is the ONLY venue in the entire Delawre Valley to receive this prestigous award in BOTH 2007 and 2008!

Dear Gary -
IT WAS PERFECT. As my husband and I think back on all last weekend's wedding festivities for Rich and Colleen we would not have done anything different. We are thrilled with Colleen's selection of Normandy Farm and all it had to offer.
Gary, a very special thank you for working so closely with us to make the wedding reception as well as the rehearsal dinner just as we wanted it. Both events were enjoyed by all.
We appreciate the time and guidance you gave Colleen and Rich in making all the wedding reception decisions - not to mention all the coordination with your staff to make everything progress so smoothly for all our guests. The experience and professional manners of everyone was visible. The ball room was beautiful and the food delicious.
A special thank you for going beyond the call of duty with the rehearsal dinner at Blue Bell Country Club. We appreciate your understanding of our detailed ways. Richard and I were in charge of this part of the weekend and we wanted to do it our way - he with the wines and me with the ambiance in the room. We both loved the evening. Moving to the Birkdale room was a life saver with the weather on Friday. You were so flexible to meet our needs in such a pleasant manner and so much assistance in preparing the room in a short time.
The entire staff at both locations was wonderful but I do need to mention a few individuals who were so kind and helpful to us. Jose made Friday night flawless. Saturday, Ray and Matt could not have been more on top of things. Matt and Adam at the hotel desk met all our guest needs. As we said, all was perfect.
Again Gary, thank you for making our Normandy Farm/Blue Bell experience so enjoyable. We take with us so many wonderful memories. Your extra touches did not go unnoticed - beautiful flowers from you and Andrew in our suite and the pink and green carnations, matching the wedding colors, garnishing the butlered hors d'oeuvres! Normandy is a special place with special people where we were so fortunate to be a part of Rich and Colleen's special wedding weekend.

Dear Gary,
Thank you so much for all of your help! My husband and I thought our November 11th wedding was perfect! We received so many compliments regarding Normandy Farm, and we couldn't be happier that we chose to have our wedding there. Also, thank you for setting up the room for the private Mass we had on Saturday Night.
It was wonderful working with you. With all of the chaos of the wedding planning and moving into a new apartment, it was a relief to know that I didn't have to worry about anything that you handled. Everything was done with such professionalism and sincere interest. After meeting with you and Normandy Farm's Florist, Andrew Dipasquale for the drop off, I told my mother that working with you was like working with friends. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable. It was truly a pleasure to have our wedding at Normandy Farm. We look forward to future visits to the Hotel and Coleman Restaurant!

Dear Gary,
The staff at Normandy Farm was very pleasant to work with. We were greeted as soon as we got out of the Limousine by Patrice, Omar, and Ursala. They showed us where to go. We did not have to worry about anything once we got there. When we needed to be somewhere, Omar was always there for us. We were told ahead of time what would be coming up next so we could enjoy our day with our family and friends. The ballroom was perfect down to the linens and the flowers. All of our guests kept talking about how beautiful the room was, as well as how good the food was. It's a day that we will never forget, thanks to your staff. Your staff at Normandy Farm did such a wonderful job that we were able to enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about anything.

Gary & the Normandy Farm Staff,
Gary, just a thank you for a terrific wedding. Everything from the first conversation with Alecia to our daughters day with Matt was perfect. Our flowers were some of the most beautiful bouquets that I ever saw and the centerpieces were amazing. Kris loved her bouquet saying it was "exactly what I imagined".
We cannot say enough about the staff at the front desk, housekeeping, even the waiters and waitresses at the wedding were so very accommodating to some of our guests. Megan who helped pack things up and worked very hard the day of the wedding is a gem and she ran a tight ship with all that she did.
Now you. Gary, you were professional and yet we felt very comfortable changing things and asking for things and you never blinked an eye. Thank you for a little craziness here and there. The day went off without a hitch and we did not have one thing we would have changed.
Normandy Farm should be very proud of it's staff. We will proudly recommend this venue for anyone that asks us.

Normandy Farm Management,
I don't know where to begin... from the first meeting with Dolly, to the meetings with Gary and Andrew, to drop-off day and execution...we couldn't have asked for anything to go more smoothly - and magnificently! The hotel staff, the reception staff, and the floral staff all were professional and efficient, yet warm and calming. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were relaxed and able to enjoy the entire event, from the moment the bridal party and groom arrived until the last hotel guest left the next day.
Gary is a gem. And Andrew is a delight to work with. The flowers were just beautiful, the food was delicious - great presentation and served so that everyone had their meals at the same time. With 223 guests, that is amazing! And Omar was able to keep even me calm through it all!
I also have to tell you that the facility is a perfect location to make any event special. The covered patio lends itself to a relaxing cocktail hour, and the ballroom is warm and inviting...perfect for music and dancing. I just can't say enough about how much everyone enjoyed it all.
We couldn't have been happier to have you host our son's wedding. We will surely recommend Normandy to everyone we can, as will everyone who was with us on Friday evening.

Dolly & Gary,
I wanted to send you a note to thank you and your staff for a lovely
event on Sunday. I held my sister Chrissy's bridal shower at Normandy
and it could not have been better.
Your staff, particularly Omar, Pat and Mike (there was also another
young guy but I confess I cannot recall his name) who saw to every
detail. Your courteous, friendly staff made the difference. The
setting and food were also wonderful.
Thank you for all you did to make this event so wonderful. Please let

Hi Gary,
We can't thank you enough for coordinating and running a fantastic
wedding day for all of us. Sean couldn't have been more helpful and
Ursula was extremely attentive. They work quickly and very efficiently -
just like you!
We were really impressed with all the goodies in the bridal suite and
our sitter was very comfortable there.
Unfortunately I was too busy talking to people and missed some of the
good hors d'oeuvres. Our meals were excellent, the presentation was
perfect and everyone raved about the tenderloin being cooked perfectly.
We heard that one person even asked for medium well and got it!!
So many of our guests had not been to Normandy previously and were
very impressed with everything. One couple is having their wedding
there next July and several other families are now interested in having
their childrens' weddings there also. Word of mouth can be the best
advertisement!!
We hope your experience with the day was equally as good as ours.
