BIO: John Pachence www.johnpachence.com/ http://www.geocities.com/johnpachence/gallery/images/Gas_Pump.jpg
John Pachence has been performing since the age of five. He started playing the piano and singing for various social events in his community. He was a novelty act -- the little boy with the big voice! At the age of nine he got his first big break. An appearance at a local talent contest caught the eye (and ear) of a New York talent agent. Within days John was signed to a multi-year deal. The result of this relationship was John's appearance in over 20 nationally aired commercials, Broadway shows and the CBS Crystal Gayle Special.
John continued to study music and the arts in high school. He starred in many musicals, formed his own rock band where he learned to play the guitar and bass, and played lead trumpet in the concert and marching bands. At this point, John was anxious to apply what he was learning in his music studies; so, with his first four-track recorder, he began writing his own songs.
BIO: Brian Keith Duo www.briankeithmusic.com/bio
Brian began playing at a young age and pursued jazz guitar in high school with his experiences and knowledge expanding in the jazz realm. Brian entered The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA as a jazz guitar major. Later he entered Rowan University earning his Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education studying jazz guitar with Joe Frederica and classical guitar with Joe Mayes. After Rowan University, Brian became an instructor at The New Jersey School of the Arts. Teaming up with saxophonist Joe Holland in 1996, Brian formed Quickpeak, a smooth jazz group playing frequently at weddings, coffee houses, restaurants and other venues displaying his talent and proficiency on both the classical and jazz guitar. Over the years, Brian has become an active performer playing as much as 120 gigs a year. Artists who have greatly influenced Brian through the years are John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter and Pat Martino.
BIO: Pete Smyser & Ted Lis www.smyser.com/
Pete Smyser is a virtuoso guitarist proficient in many musical genres including jazz, classical, blues, contemporary, folk and more. He has over 20 years of professional performing experience (and over 30 years of playing experience.) Pete pursued formal studies in both classical and jazz music and received a full scholarship to attend Temple University in 1985. He has performed alongside many notable jazz artists including; Warren Vache, Harry Allen, Larry McKenna, John Swana, Richie Cole, Grant Stewart, Byron Landham, Tom Lawton, Steve Gilmore and Robert "Bootsie" Barnes (to name a few).
BIO: Class Act www.classactduo.com/
Steve and Donna Graci are the husband and wife duo know as “Class Act”. The group’s genre ranges from Standards and R&B to current artists. Steve has performed with various top 40, rock & jazz bands over the past 25 years. He began playing the piano at an early age which then parlayed his interest to the keyboard. Artists who have influenced Steve include Al Jarreau, John Coltrane and Oscar Peterson. Steve’s love of music is evident in his varied styles of musical choices. Singing is one of Donna’s passions, which began at an early age at family functions or just around the dinner table with her brothers and sisters. During her early years most of her performing centered around school & church events. As time went on her participation in a jazz chorus and church choir led to years of singing for wedding ceremonies. This most recent endeavor with her husband, Steve, is proving to be a most enjoyable experience.
